2024 Wrapped: Purple Method Edition

It’s the moment you’ve been waiting for: the Purple Method’s 2024 Wrapped is finally here! Unlike (perhaps) your music preferences, there’s nothing to be embarrassed about–just like Taylor Swift, creating safer workplaces never goes out of style.

I’m grateful to all of our Purple partners for recognizing that, and thanks to their support, by the end of 2024 the Purple Method’s work will have reached organizations across 41 industries with 1,605,161 employees across 65 countries. That’s a lot of impact!

We expanded into new industries this year by forming partnerships with local political campaigns, national non-profit organizations, places of worship, and institutions of higher education. Our team traveled across the country–from New York City to San Francisco to Washington D.C. to Boston–to speak at conferences hosted by Harvard Law School, Berkeley Law, and Marketplace Risk, among others. And we shared our perspectives on best practices and emerging legal trends in national news outlets such as Law360, the Cancer Letter, and Fierce Healthcare.

The world we live in is constantly evolving, and so too is our work: I’m proud to share that in 2024 we launched three new offerings to support our partners with emerging needs. This spring, we launched a new suite of Trust & Safety initiatives to help digital platforms implement trauma-informed methods to mitigate safety risks. Over the summer, we announced the addition of global people leader Elizabeth Nieto to our team and new programming designed to improve Organizational Culture. And this fall, we began offering more formal ways for our trauma-informed attorneys to provide Victim & Survivor Advocacy services to people who have experienced sexual misconduct.

If 2024 was a banner year for the Purple Method, 2025 promises to be even better: I’m excited to share more in the coming months with you about even more new offerings in the works, and to celebrate five years of implementing our unique method this August. In the meantime, have a great rest of 2024 and put some fresh tracks on that playlist!

To safer workplaces everywhere,

Ally Coll
