Partner Spotlight: Viasat

I’m sure you’ve heard the familiar saying: “the only constant in life is change.” This is certainly true of our work at the Purple Method, as we aim to create safer workplaces in an ever-evolving world. From the rise of artificial intelligence to the changing nature of work, our policies and programs have to constantly adapt to keep up with emerging trends and on-the-ground realities.

Today, I’m excited to spotlight one of our partners who has been navigating change in the wake of a major acquisition: Viasat, a global communications company that strives to find better ways to connect people, businesses, governments, and communities around the world. Last year, Viasat brought together extraordinary people and innovative capabilities through its acquisition of Inmarsat, establishing a new global partnership and leader in satellite communications. 

As one of the initial pilot partners of our certification program, Viasat has had a longstanding commitment to creating an environment in which employees around the globe can come to work every day knowing that they are safe and valued. In the wake of its Inmarsat acquisition, the company reaffirmed this commitment by completing our most recent certification to ensure that it was creating a cohesive corporate culture across its new global structure. I’m excited to share that Viasat has once again achieved a top score of 100 and the designation of Purple Certified!
