Victim & Survivor Advocacy

At the Purple Method, we know firsthand about the unique challenges that come along with reporting instances of misconduct, whether it be to your workplace, community organization, or to law enforcement. From opaque reporting procedures to a lack of transparency about what happens after you report, it can often feel like there are more obstacles than benefits to reporting misconduct. Our trauma-informed advocates and attorneys can guide you through the process and help you make decisions that are right for you and your future.

What We Offer:

Reporting Advice:

Reporting misconduct formally, whether to your workplace, community organization, or law enforcement, comes along with a variety of considerations and risks that may not always be readily apparent. Our trained experts are here to help you navigate the process and decide on a course of action that’s right for you.

Investigation Support:

Once you’ve reported misconduct, you may find yourself in an investigation process that will require your time and involvement. Unfortunately, investigations are not always victim-centered nor transparent. Our trauma-informed attorneys can advocate for you throughout the process and ensure your voice is heard.

Referrals:

While the Purple Method does not provide litigation support or mental health counseling, we can refer you to relevant attorneys and service providers if we get to a point where your individual needs go beyond our organization’s expertise and capacity.
