From the Purple Campagin to the Purple Method
The cherry blossoms are at peak bloom here in Washington D.C., and I’m excited to share that the change of seasons is ushering in new beginnings on the Purple front as well. As a longtime supporter of our efforts to address workplace harassment, I wanted you to be the first to know that, moving forward, this important work will continue over here at the Purple Method, a full-service consulting firm dedicated to helping employers address workplace harassment.
After more than five years of implementing stronger corporate policies, establishing better laws, and empowering people to create lasting change over at the Purple Campaign, I’m so proud of what we accomplished together: we successfully advocated for the enactment of new federal and state laws to address workplace harassment; had a perfect track-record of getting the courts to agree with our arguments in the cases we filed amicus briefs in; and hosted #MeToo Meet Ups and developed resources to support and empower survivors across the country.
This critical work will live on in two key ways. First, we’ll maintain the Purple Campaign’s website, which will continue to provide an active library of the tools, resources, and educational materials we’ve developed over the past five years. Secondly, we’ll continue our efforts to address workplace harassment over here at the Purple Method – where I’m excited to keep working with many of the same people who have made us so successful.
Shea Holman will head-up the leadership team as the Purple Method’s Chief Operating Officer, and you can read more about our current team of experienced trainers, advisors, and consultants here. If you or someone you know is interested in joining our growing team of experts working to address harassment, please drop us a line at hello@thepurplemethod.com.
Our existing corporate certification program, which evaluates workplace policies and practices pursuant to our four-part Reduce, Respond, Rethink, and Rebuild framework, will continue as a key component of the Purple Method, together with new exciting offerings, such as live, online, and hybrid anti-harassment trainings; assistance reviewing and updating employee handbooks and written policies; and strategic consulting services to help employers address the unexpected issues that inevitably arise in today’s ever-changing work environment.
And this is just the beginning: we’re excited to share new programs with you in the coming months, as we continue to build out our team and expand our efforts. If you know someone who would like to stay in the loop on the Purple Method’s offerings, have them sign up for our newsletter here. Thanks as always for your support and dedication to addressing workplace harassment. Cheers to new beginnings and changing seasons!
Best,
Ally Coll, Founder & CEO, The Purple Method
