Partner Spotlight: Papa

It’s hard to believe we’re already wrapping up the first month of 2024! January is a time when we often reflect on what isn’t working well, and implement changes for the year ahead. Just as this can be a helpful exercise in our personal lives, so too is it important in the workplace.

Today, I’m excited to spotlight one of our partners who has been doing just that: Papa, a national company that pairs gig workers–known as Papa Pals–with real people who need help with companionship, everyday tasks, transportation, and more. Beginning with the simple premise that “people need people,” the company has now facilitated more than 2 million visits!

It’s been a privilege to work with Papa to create safe interactions on their platform, so that everyone involved leaves feeling more connected and valued than they did beforehand. To achieve this goal, the Purple Method team created a new custom-tailored training to educate Papa Pals on specific scenarios they may find themselves facing while on the job.

I hope Papa’s commitment to taking a holistic approach to creating a safe and empowering environment for their Pals inspires you to take a fresh look at your own workplace policies. Even though January may be coming to a close, it’s never too late to make a positive change – and the Purple Method team is here to help!

To safer workplaces everywhere,
